Products, Papers & Services

  • We have a wide range of print products with rush, express and standard turnarounds. Our core range includes business cards, flyers, catalogues, NCR Pads, Brochures, and Roll-up Banners. You can view our full product range by visiting Metroprint.ph.
  • We have tried to make it easy for you to find the product for your needs. You can see our full product range here. Our products are shown in popularity order. Once you click on a product from its landing page, you can customise the printing options depending on what is available for that paper stock or size. Then you can add it to your cart and proceed with the checkout process.
  • We carry a wide variety of premium quality European papers from Italy, Spain and Asia. The majority of the stocks fall in three categories: glossy, matt and wood-free varieties. Please request a paper sample book to see our range yourself.
  • We sure can. Please fill out the paper samples request form and we will mail you our welcome pack.
  • Glossy paper is shiny. It’s coated on both surfaces and has great colour reproduction. Matt paper has a dull coating. On printed areas the colours will appear semi-shine and on unprinted areas (white) the paper will have no shine. Wood-free papers have no coating. These papers will absorb a small amount of ink from the surface resulting in slightly muted, flatter colours. Wood free papers are ideal for anything that requires writing onto.
  • Metroprint uses vegetable oil based printing inks. We choose vegetable oil based inks (derived from soy, palm and other vegetable oils) as the environmentally friendly, sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum based printing inks.
  • We specialise in full colour CMYK printing. We are able to offer very affordable printing by printing many orders together on large press sheets on our four colour CMYK presses. Unfortunately we are not able to print Pantone spot colors. Please contact us for a quote if you require metallic gold or silver inks.
  • Yes. There’s nothing we can’t do.

  • We do not provide printed proofs as standard. Should you need a proof, we can print a Sample Proof but there will be an additional fee to the printing. Please contact us for more information.
  • How long depends on what product you’ve ordered and if it has any special finishes. If you log into your account page, you can select your order and view the estimated delivery date. Deliveries within Manila are next business day. Deliveries to all other cities take an additional business day.
  • Unfortunately no. Once you have approved your data, we will start the data compilation and production will start that day. From this point we are unable to accept changes to either the order specs. If you notice an error immediately having placed the order however, call us as soon as possible and we may be able to rectify the error or adjust the specs (e.g increase the quantity, change paper type etc.).
  • Most of our products are more economical when you order 250 copies or more. The more copies you print, the cheaper the price per unit becomes. The following products allow for 100 copies or less: Rush Business cards, Express Flyers, Express Booklets, Envelopes, NCR Pads, Letterheads, Roll-up Banners.
  • Most of the time we will ship you slightly more than you ordered, free of charge. On occasion you may receive slightly fewer pieces than you ordered. Printing industry standards allow for underages of up to 5%. If you need a guaranteed quantity we recommend that you order 5% over the minimum quantity you need.

File Preparation & Submission

  • We accept PDF files created from Adobe Illustrator or InDesign, Quark Xpress, Corel Draw. High resolution images created in Adobe Photoshop (JPG, PSD, EPS),or data created in Adobe Illustrator (AI, EPS). Please review our data checklist before uploading data.
  • I’m afraid not. MS-Office data is not print data.
  • All print data must have a 3mm area that extends beyond the cut line to allow for discrepancies during the final trimming process. This is known as the bleed. Please see a tutorial on bleed for more information.
  • Sure. Let our technicians know and they will be happy to help you out.
  • Yes, we can. Please understand though, that working in RGB and then converting to CMYK at the last minute however can result in some large colour shifts since the CMYK colour gamut is much smaller than RGB. For jobs where colour accuracy is crucial we suggest ordering a Sample Proof, to avoid last minute headaches.
  • RGB refers to primary colours of light (Red, Green and Blue) that are used in monitors, tv screens and pretty much all electronics. CMYK refers to primary colours of pigment (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). These are the inks used in 4-colour process printing, commonly known as full-colour printing. When you add RGB values together the result is a white colour. However, when you add CMYK values together it creates black. Therefore, it is quite impossible for a printing press to reproduce exactly the colours as we see them on screen. Read our illustrated explanation, and more on how to prepare your print here.
  • No, send us your files as a single layout and we will handle the data setup on our end.
  • Our Design Templates page has a list of currently available templates. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Contact our Customer Support team and let us know your dimensions and we’ll create you one.

Design Services

  • Most business card and flyer designs take a day or two, but larger products like folded brochures and magazines will depend on the content.
  • We do not release our working design files as standard practice. Should you require them we will release the files for an additional release fee (100% of the original design fee).

Returns, Refunds & Customer Services

  • Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order if you need to cancel for any reason.
  • If there has been a printing error we will of course reprint your data at no additional cost to you. If the error is found to be the result of poorly prepared data or otherwise contains client-side production errors however, Metroprint will not be held responsible and any reprints will be at your expense. Please see our full Terms and conditions for more details on claims and returns.
  • Every effort is made to obtain the best possible colour reproduction of your data, but because of the nature of the processes involved, we shall not be required to guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between any photograph, transparency, proof or digital file and the printed item. Each print run is checked for colour accuracy, consistency and density by our technicians but that does not guarantee your individual job will print as you expect. A job proofed on screen and the final printed matter can often be very different. The data setup, paper type and finishes also play a big role in determining the final appearance of your colours in print. Where colour accuracy is critical, we recommend a Sample Proof to avoid disappointment.
